When Drake rapped, “I be up all night / whole crews in here”, he must have been referring to the PCL the night before Calculus homework is due. Then-freshman Michael Koetting personified those lyrics as he sat awake at ungodly hours, stuck on a practice problem.
“I thought to myself, there must be 100 kids working on the same thing right now,” Koetting reminisces. Too bad he didn’t know how to reach them; even if he found a way, getting help would be another story. Explaining math over the phone or through Facebook chat is about as useful as punching yourself in the face.
